K-Laser Therapy

Non-invasive pain relief and tissue repair

What is K-Laser?

K-Laser therapy utilises specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to induce a biological process known as photobiomodulation (PBM). Unlike surgical lasers that cut, PBM is a non-destructive process that delivers light energy deep into the damaged tissue.

This energy stimulates your cells to increase their production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) — the fuel your cells need to repair themselves. This boost in cellular energy accelerates the natural healing process, rapidly reducing inflammation and blocking pain signals at the source.

Conditions we treat

  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Biomechanical treatments

Why patients choose it

Accelerated healing

K-Laser stimulates tissue repair at a cellular level, helping muscles, tendons and ligaments heal faster than the body’s natural rate.

Immediate pain relief

By blocking pain signals transmitted to the brain, many patients experience significant relief after just one session, improving mobility instantly.

Reduces inflammation

The laser energy opens up blood vessels (vasodilation) to flush out fluid and reduce swelling, taking the pressure off painful joints.

Safe & non-invasive

A completely drug-free solution with no side effects. Avoid the risks of injections or surgery with a comfortable, stress-free treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is the treatment painful?

No, K-Laser therapy is completely pain-free. Most patients report feeling a gentle, soothing warmth over the treated area. There are no shocks or jolts.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your specific condition. Acute injuries (recent sprains) typically require 4–6 sessions. Chronic conditions (long-term pain like arthritis) may require 6–10 sessions. We will provide a bespoke treatment plan during your initial assessment.

How long does a session take?

Treatments are fast and efficient. A typical session lasts between 4 and 8 minutes per area, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Are there any side effects?

K-Laser is a safe, drug-free treatment with no known significant side effects. Some patients may experience a slight increase in soreness for a few hours post-treatment as the healing process kicks in (a "healing crisis"), but this is temporary and a sign the treatment is working.

Can I use my health insurance?

Some major insurers cover podiatry, but coverage for laser therapy specifically varies by policy. We recommend checking with your provider. We will provide a full receipt for you to claim back costs if eligible.
